why i love children's illustrated books π
One of the things i love about children's illustrated books is the sense of freedom they offer in terms of artistic style ✨ There's a unique opportunity to experiment with different drawing and narrative tecniques since the market for children's books is so vast. What fascinates me the most is how these books can convey powerful messages using simple language π Even though the stories are often brief and straightforward, they can be incredibly impactful , i find them even more interesting than most of the new mainstream comics, as they allow for a greater variety of artistic expression and storytelling approachesπ️ Another aspect i love is how these books, while being easy for children to understand, often carry deeper meanings that can resonate even with adults. A story meant for kids can take on new layers of significance when read from an adult perspective, making some children's books not only e...
sung tales of sailors - kanata by baobab ⛵
In the vast landscape of Japanese folk music, few albums manage to capture with such delicacy and depth the essence of nostalgia and natural beauty as Kanata, the result of the collaboration between the duo baobab and musician Haruka Nakamura . Released on December 13, 2019, this album feels suspended in time, offering a window into ethereal soundscapes and musical tales that speak directly to the soul ✨ photo of the Kanata CD bought on amazon.com Kanata blends traditional Japanese folk with European influences, creating a unique and unmistakable sound. The name " Kanata " (γγͺγ) in Japanese means " beyond " or " far away ," and there could be no more fitting title to describe the sense of journey that permeates every track of the album π Kanata is an album where the sea a...

the stunning sounds of nature by takagi masakatsu πΉ
As a musician, there are certain artists that you don’t just listen to, you absorb them. They become part of you, changing the way you perceive music and how you express emotions. Takagi Masakatsu is one of those artists for me ✨ He represents home, breath, relief. His music is what I always put on when traveling by train, as the landscape flows past and my thoughts unravel one by one π€️ There have been days when his music was the only thing that could truly ease my anxiety, especially during panic attacks. There’s something about his sounds, the natural way he allows the world to enter his recordings, that has always given me a sense of calm, as if telling me that everything is exactly as it should be ❤️ photo #1 by me His compositions are open windows into a universe of light, organic sounds and intimacy, where time seems to flow at a different pace ✨ It’s hard to put into word...
